What can we learn from daffodils in the snow?
In the previous post I talked about how daffodils need both the sun and the rain to thrive and suggested that rain in our lives can be good ( and necessary).
And then…. a week on and this happens

We had a significant dump of snow overnight. Although not unheard of at the end of March it is unusual.
Now I don’t know whether those daffodils will be able to stand upright again or whether I will have to pick them and put them in a vase when the snow melts …only time will tell.
But this happens in life too doesn’t it? Something that cannot be planned for comes out of the blue and knocks you for six. How we come back from that shows our real strength.
Keep your fingers crossed for a happy outcome on this one!

Not unusual according to the weather man today who said there’s more often snow at Easter than at Christmas! But don’t you feel like we’ve had enough this year? I was taking oictures just like yours in my garden today!
Hi Christine – I remember getting special new clothes for Easter when I was little and not being able to wear them because I needed to be wrapped up in woolies and wearing boots! …and yes, much as I love the snow I think it is time to move on! Great to hear from you:-)
