The beauty of autumn in Scotland

I met up with my dear friend and colleague Lesley today. We try to meet in inspiring places and today we chose to travel to Bridge of Allan which is just north of Stirling – Braveheart country. She was driving from Glasgow  across country and described a part of the road where the countryside opened up so beautifully that she almost pulled into the side of the road ( which would have been a hazard and possibly illegal!) to admire it. My journey north from Edinburgh was just as lovely with numerous  shades of the trees with the backdrop of Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument. With that journey to get there we were both inspired which in turn almost certainly helped us with our creativity!

The point of this?Well, I guess – taking time to see and appreciate the beauty around you can make an already good day great!
