You can’t get daffodils without the rain!
Last week there were just green shoots. Then we had a sunny day and the shoots opened!
Are there any brighter indicators of spring than daffodils?
Soon gardens as well as grass verges, roundabouts, waste ground even will be awash with the bright yellow they bring . The harshness and gloom of winter days will fade into the memory ..
But of course the sun is not the only ingredient daffodils need. They do of course need a good dose of rain to allow them to grow.
So my thought for today.
If we want to shine out in what we do we need both the sun and the rain…If something is holding you back it is maybe time to think about whether it is the rain ( which you need) or something else!
